Goorin Bros Hat shop and Conservatory of Flowers/Comedy Show

This Sunday after church, we wanted to do something a little different. We broke our usual Sunday routine and headed off to have a delicious lunch at Burger Meister, went hat shopping at Goorin Bros located in Haight Ashbury, followed by a visit to the Conservatory of Flowers( well, sort of).

We had a lot of fun looking for the perfect hat that matched our style;). When Mark Jacinto tried his hat I could see the wheels turning in his head and thinking: boy I look good, hehe. Mark Walter got two hats a dressier one and an everyday one and I got one that is a cross between East Coast and West Coast( If that makes any sense). We were truly impressed by the craftsmanship. It is a family company so they put a lot of care in their products and customer service was wonderful as well. They gave Marky freshly made popcorn while he waited for mommy and daddy to pick their hats, he was happy!

Miss Dominika was napping the whole time so it came to be a delightful shopping experience. Afterwards we headed to the Conservatory of Flowers at Golden Gate Park. Ah, the weather, the sights, the people and the colors! I love going there for every single time there is something different to see or do. This time there was a Comedy Festival in honor of Robin Williams.

We hanged outside of the conservatory this time and ended up enjoying the performances instead.

Dominika was wearing an Alice in Wonderland inspired vintage outfit I got for her a couple of weeks ago. Our little Alice was charming and got free art by a painter that was nearby. how nice of him!

It was a fun evening and by the time we got home the heat has gotten to us and we were all ready to have dinner and pass out.
