San Francisco Zoo

This past weekend, we went to the San Francisco Zoo with friends. It was our second time there and we had a blast. This time it was lovely 70's, bright sun with a little bit of cool air. The animals were perky and ready for their visitors; except for Koalas which I learned that they sleep mostly during the day. We went around the entire zoo, ate lunch and the kiddos played in the Zoo's awesome playgrounds. Yes, they had 3 playgrounds by the same place with a a big sand box area, score!. I particularly loved their tree inspired playground, I love it when they create a unique atmosphere for kids to play in.

There was a sushi cart and these awesome swings that kept you cool inside. All I needed was a book and some iced tea!

Afterwards we headed out for a delicious dinner at Squat and Gobble in West Portal. It was my first exploring the area. The kids were so happy and us parents too. Marky and his bestie Leo, they make my heart warm. There is nothing like seeing your children happy.

I think you have already noticed, I love pictures of food;)

We arrived home around 7:30pm from a whole day out. Kids were tired and mama and papa were ready for a relaxing  date night in with popcorn and movies.
